HOW TO GET TO THE GASWORKS STUDIO
For Wild Weekends (except those held at the Pierian Centre):
The Gasworks Studio is the right-hand door at 27 Narroways
Road, St Werburghs, BS2 9XB, which is near the centre of Bristol, and
very close to the M32. Please park off-road on the industrial forecourt
opposite (unused by the company during course hours).
From the motorway or east of the centre, come off the M32 at junction
2 and on the roundabout take the (right) turning to Horfield, fork immediately
right onto Muller Road, then turn left at the traffic lights onto Glenfrome
Road, and second right into Narroways Road.
From town, go through St Pauls into St Werburghs along Sussex Place
and right at the mini-roundabout. Go straight over the next mini-roundabout
next to the park in St Werburghs, straight along Glenfrome Road and
under the railway bridge with traffic lights, then turn first left (just
after Jewsons).
You can also get to the studio by bus on the 5 or 25 (both half hourly
from the centre), though the first bus on a Sunday arrives at the studio
slightly after the course starts - ask Tim to check if another participant
can help with a lift instead.
By train: the main Bristol station is Temple Meads, which is about
2.25 miles by road from the studio. A taxi should complete the journey
in 10 minutes or less. The 8 or 9 bus runs to the Centre where the 5
or 25 can be caught to the studio, but I don't recommend such a complicated
journey - if the taxi is impossible ask Tim to check if another participant
can help with a lift instead.
